Behind the studio
We believe technology should amplify what people can do, not replace it. Aetia is built on the idea that smart tools should work as a creative partner, helping you learn new skills and push your imagination further. Instead of outsourcing your thinking to a machine, you get a structured space where complex storytelling techniques feel within reach.
A lot of great fiction is rooted in deep worldbuilding and intricate lore. But keeping a universe’s rules connected to your daily drafting has always been hard. In Aetia, your series bible, chronology, and manuscript are linked, so your vision stays consistent from the first spark of an idea to the finished manuscript.
Human voice first.
We do not build click-button book factories or tools designed to automate away the joy of writing. AI suggestions are a starting point, and you are the sole author of every word that makes it into your manuscript.
Nothing changes behind your back.
Your universe rules and timelines only change when you change them.
A private sandbox.
Every guided suggestion or generated scene layout lives in a separate, isolated workspace. Nothing enters your story until you review and approve it.
An independent studio.
Aetia is operated from New Zealand as a sole trader, trading as Aetia. It is not a registered company. The public brand is Aetia; there is no corporate parent listed on this site.
Under the hood, Aetia reads your book the way an editor would.
It tracks the relationships between your characters, settings, and timeline events, and checks your draft against your world-bible rules, so continuity problems are easier to catch as your universe grows.
