Craft uses your OpenAI API key for hosted layouts and continuity. You pay OpenAI directly, and Aetia does not include a hosted allotment. Storyteller includes a monthly hosted allotment of layouts and continuity units billed through Aetia. Both include 3 active manuscript projects.
Hosted OpenAI calls are billed to Aetia on Storyteller and Professional. Caps keep those paths sustainable. Craft and Professional overflow after the hosted cap use the key you store in Settings → Studio, so those calls are billed on your OpenAI account.
No. Prices are listed in USD before tax. Any applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST is calculated at checkout from your billing address and added to the total before you pay.
We’re tuning our own narrative model for long-form continuity and worldbuilding. We never use your private manuscripts, notes, or data to build it. When it launches, it will run on our own private infrastructure.
Yes. You keep full ownership, copyright, and title to everything in your workspace. Layout and text suggestions are a private starting point, and we claim no rights to your prose.
Your work is safe. If you cancel your subscription, your account moves to the free Hobbyist tier at the end of your billing cycle. You will never lose access to your existing text files, and you can easily view, edit, or download your complete manuscript data at any time.
No. Your private outlines, manuscripts, and world bibles are never sold or used to train public AI models.
